This looks much better but you should add some kind of boarder around the edges of the roof sections. Also, adding some detail to the top and bottom of the pillars will make them more believable.
Good progress on the model design, but much more detail is needed. As we discussed: Bevel the hard edges on the gazebo roofing, detail the columns so they throw shadows on themselves and don't look like cylinder primitives, add moulding on the top and bottom of the vertical planes continuing around the room, detail the flooring in the foreground (perhaps an indentation in the floor, a pool, or an interesting floor texture). The lighting and textures will change the look, so don't wait too much longer to add them, as you'll need to make adjustments between the model, texture, and lights.
I like the purple a lot. the top of the dorm looks much better. Is this an outside setting?
ReplyDeletethis looks so much better. i really like the gazebo in the middle and the pillars around it

ReplyDeleteThis is looking a lot better from before..I really like the images in the background...they add to the vertical line motif you have going on
ReplyDeleteYou could also add in some plane fog for atmosphere. Great improvement over the last submission!
